16A birthday song.
So last night, my beautiful friends took me out to New Empire concert. Now don’t stress if you have never hear of them. Its because they’re an emerging sydney based band of some amazing boys who make some incredible music. Seeing as I first saw them about a year ago at rice rally, but it was cool to see their music sort of evolve with them.
anyway it was so hilarious because pete (below) my favourite guitarist ended up being super close to us, and (he is such a gem) hahaha, apart from being lovely, he was holding all our hands but we definately tried to pull him into the mosh, his face was hilarious. But they are absolutely incredible live and they’re super down to earth, real people and are cool to just chat with. I love that. I’m super excited for their new album to come out, especially a song called ‘one heart a million voices’. It was a wonderful way to spend a birthday and I ended up humming one of their songs to myself to sleep.
