When girls curse. Especially if they claim to be Christian. And it’s not like I care if they almost hit somebody while driving and let one slip. But it’s the intentional use of words like “bi**h” (mostly that one) that drive me crazy.
Let me make things clear, girls: No one deserves to be called a “bi**h” or even thought of as one. Who’re you to judge? Secondly, don’t call your girl friends your “bi**hes”…it’s not cool or funny or whatever the heck you’re trying to imply.
Call them beautiful. Call them lovely. Call them awesome. Call them your friends.Build them up. Just don’t call them derogatory terms.
Let’s do this. We’re far from ‘bi**hes’, instead treat the daughter of God with the same love and respect that you would show their fathers.
the marks i get, do not determine who i am.
- mantra for the next 2 weeks, trials bring it on.
I have my trials, mocks or whatever else they are called around the world, tomorrow.
It is rather strange to be seemingly drawing school to conclusion. And while I am not always confident in my ability to go amazingly. There is only the best I can do and trust that whatever will be will be.
But yeah. if you have time would pray that I’ll do my best, that I will be calm and happy with whatever the result is. That would be sweet, and awesome. And regardless I hope you have a sweet apps week :)
What are you doing when no one is around?
Is it the same as when you are at school? when you are with your friends? when you are at church? watching movies? or shopping at the mall? with your boyfriend or girlfriend?
Are we ‘policing’ our behaviours to fit our social norms? Then who are we? When we stop pretending, when we stop losing sight of things then who are we? Would others be surprised?
Why are you living a life of double standards?
Where are you finding your identity?
Is that why you change? When you are with people do you become the person that everyone wants to like, aiming to help everyone out, then what happens when you remove people from the equation, then who are you?
I think that our identity is summed up by what we focus on, where our attention is, on where our devotion is going to. Because don’t we all have a friend who’s known by their love for shoes, for material wealth, the friend that is obsessed about looks, the friend who always speaks of how they plan to get rich?
If you break it down, you can normally spot the things that people value, through their focus. So I’d challenge any christians out there, are you characterised, are you known for, your relationship with Jesus?
And if not, what might be taking precedence in your life? What are you valuing more than your relationship with thing King.
Food for thought I think.
Blessed be.
